State of Maine Primary Election

Absentee ballots are available at the Town Office for the State of Maine Primary Election on June 14th, 2022. Ballots are available for any reason until June 9th at 4:00 pm. After that, a Special Circumstances Application must be filled out in order to receive a ballot. For this Primary Election, you must be enrolled in a party to receive a ballot. The only parties that have a ballot available are the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. The Green Independent and the Libertarian Parties do not have a candidate, and therefore there is no ballot. If you are Unerolled you may enroll in a Party on the day of the election, or any time prior to the election. If you are enrolled in a Party and wish to switch to another Party, you must do so by Friday, May 27th at 4:00 pm. You may not switch Parties after this time and still vote in this election.
