CV Trails Update- 7-24-23

A few of the sections in the Carrabassett Valley Trail network are in prime mid-summer condition, others seem to be stuck in early spring with deep mud!  We are continuing to receive heavy thundershowers which, combined with the already noteworthy amount of precipitation is producing less than desirable conditions throughout the nordic corridors.  Please be mindful of your tread and ride through the puddles (not around), try to keep the single track single.

We have been challenged this season to open the Stoney Brook Trails on time.  This zone is particularly wet to begin with, combined with this summers soggy conditions are preventing the opening.  We will be getting up there soon and hope to have some riding options available when possible.  For now, please no riding this network.  Thank you for your consideration.
