The Carrabassett Valley Trails status will remain unchanged for the next few weeks.  Please review the conditions page prior to visiting and venturing out into the network.  Of note, the nordic (wider) corridors are in Caution status – please understand what that means.  Although most single-track (narrow) corridors are open, many have standing water and puddles.  Please ride through these puddles (not around) to keep the single track single.  Widening these areas is only making it worse.  Be mindful of your tread, be aware of washouts, have fun and please ride w gratitude.

The Mountains of Western Maine are continuing to receive significant heavy rain events daily.  We have recorded upwards of 15 inches of rain in the past 6 weeks, with what appears to be no end in sight.  If you have a kayak or a raft… please go boating, we are sure it’s all time right now throughout the State!

We’ll do our best to update here as conditions change.  Please be respectful and accepting of what Mother Nature is throwing our way.
