Maine Huts & Trails 207.265.2400 Maine Huts and Trails is the newest eco-tourism destination in Western Maine. We are located between Carrabassett Valley and the Forks. Currently Maine Huts & Trails offer 30 miles of trail corridor and three full-services lodges spaced a one days hike or ski apart from one another. During the winter , trails are groomed for both classic and skate cross country skiing. There are also miles of un-groomed snowshoe trails around each hut. During the spring , summer and fall the trails are available for hiking and mountain biking. There is never a trail fee to use our trails. Two huts are on waterfront (one lake and one riverfront) offering swimming, fishing and paddle sport opportunities. Fall foliage, birding, orienteering and white water rafting are other activities that attract people to Maine Huts & Trails. The lodges offer warm comfortable beds, hot showers, and delicious home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus amazing backcountry hospitality . We even offer beer and wine.
