AGC Activities Weight Room Our weight room resides in the upstairs of the facility. It is fully equipped with treadmills, elliptical, bicycles, Stairmasters, a rowing machine and many free weights. You can find a piece of equipment to work any part of your body. It costs $5.00 for youth and $8.00 for adults. Children under 13 are not permitted in the weight room.
Basketball Court/Open Gym The basketball court is a multi-purpose gymnasium equipped with 6 basketball hoops. Basketballs are available and the cost is $4.00 for youth and $5.00 for adults. There is a track around the perimeter for walking, jogging or running, (17.5 laps makes a mile).
Skate Park & Bowl The skate park surface Skatelite is used by rollerbladers and skateboarders. The park is fully equipped with many ramps, a tabletop, grind rails, and a mini- half pipe. The bowl is 10 feet deep. To skate it is $5.00 for youth, and $8.00 for adults!
Skateboard Lessons Call the AGC at 237-5566 for information.
Trampolines Trampolines will be open on weekends in the evening hours. Reservations are required to jump on the trampoline at any time. Please call ahead to reserve specific hours. During school vacations, hours increase and vary. Ten people are permitted to jump during a one-hour session. Private rentals are also available to rent for $45 per hour. The cost during public time is $5.00 for those under 18 and $8.00 for adults.
Climbing Wall The Climbing Wall will be open on weekends in the evening hours. During school vacations, hours increase and vary. Appointments are available for special group activities and private instruction. The cost during public time is $5.00 for youth and $8.00 for adults. Private rentals are also available to rent for $45 per hour.
Pilates A great way to lose fat and build muscle! Try our class instructed by Stacey Keene. The class is held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 8:30am. The cost is $6.00 per class.
Yoga A great way to improve your balance for winter sports and strengthen your body. Yoga classes are instructed by Stacey Keene. Please call the AGC for updated classes.
Personal Weight Training A one- hour private session will introduce you to the many benefits of weight training in a safe and knowledgeable format. Learn a variety of exercises with free weights and select-rise equipment and establish your training program. Call for an appointment. Sessions are taught by Jeff Hawksley, a certified personal trainer of Mountain Fitness. |
